RELAX

Dad and I are relaxing watching tennis.

We are both feeling a little down.

We missed Morgan's party

The cancer on dad's lip has
gotten very painful and ugly.

Pain takes all your energy away
as we all know.

Our life is changing
and even more precious
when we can be with family.

Panteli came by and picked up my
our letters to Morgan.  I also saw the
delicious chocolate cake Carol had
prepared for Morgan just like she likes
it.

I had just decided not to attend church when Rick phoned to say he is dropping by for a short visit

We all need to be reminded to relax and enjoy our blessings.

We  are not put on this earth to see through one another
but to see one another through.  -Gloria Vanderbilt

Too bad that you and Larry couldn't come yesterday. Everyone at the party wrote something for Morgan and put it in her special book. Those are really nice thoughts you wrote about Morgan that you posted in yesterday's blog. Carol is going to pick Morgan up today and take her to the Art gallery. She might drop by your place on her way home late in the afternoon after she drops off Morgan in Cloverdale. . Hope Larry is feeling better soon! xo Panteli

Too bad you missed the party. Then Raonic lost the tennis . bummer.
I'm on days off until Friday. Melina and the kids went to the snow on Saturday to toboggan. It was a long day but they finally got to the snow.
The kids are back to school today after their two week break. It's still cold and wet here. Good news is that only two months till spring.
I hope the DR can help Dad and his lip.

Oh dear, that is so awful for Larry to have cancer on his lip and for it to be so sore. I cannot imagine how painful it would be. Just think when we get a small cut or split how much it hurts. Surely there is something they could give him to help. Feel better soon, Larry.

Carl isn't feeling well at all either. The nausea dizziness and stomach pain are pretty bad tonight. He finally ate a pretty good supper and is paying the price.

Today was very hot and humid, but the ferocious bugs weren't quite as bad. Thank goodness for air conditioning! I went with my son, Mark, to Selkirk just to get out for a ride. We had lunch at A&W. Do you have them in Vancouver? They make a darned good hamburger and the root beer is awesome!

The art class yesterday was so much fun. I had three new adult ladies and one new teenager plus four other regular students. I was thinking of sending Morgan a lesson along with a photo of what we painted for a belated birthday gift. Too bad she didn't live nearby and could come to the teen class. I do have some kids who are younger in the class...they just need to be able to sit still and paint for a couple of hours and most do very well!

Too bad Raonic lost the tennis. He seemed to be off his game a little. BUT the Blue Jays won and now they are having their break for the All Stars game.

Gosh when Ken said it is only two months until spring it made me think, oh oh, it is only two months until fall here! AND we know what comes after that don't we?
I didn't know they have snow in Australia....wow, must have been fun for the kids! They could come here and have snow for 5 months...lots of tobogganing, skiing, hockey and snowmobiling and no bugs!

Feel better soon, I will keep you both in my prayers,

Love, Nancy

Thanks I am always grateful for prayers.

Dad is a little better today.

He put the burning ointment on as told to by the doctor.

It makes it hurt like a burn and eating is difficult.

Hopefully another day will see more healing.

It just seems like one thing after another for these guys,

I will pray for you two also.

Love beth
