DOGGIE

Ken how are your dogs doing?

Yes it was a doggie day for dad and I with a visit from Haiti.
A good day to just lie in the sunshine.
Dad and Haiti sat out on the front porch and our neighbot Toddd came for a visit.
The day before his young 10 year old son had come over to help us prune trees.
But like most tree pruners he did his own thing.
A good visit with Kim too!
We wish her well in handing in her assignment today.  We are proud of her achievement in graduating this June and proud of her continuing her education in the fall.  Her visits always cheer us up!

Today I have a friend, Caroline coming at lunch time and a dentist appointment at 3:30.
She is allergic to dogs and wouldn't you know it she is here just after Haiti.

I did a little baking but no time to read.

I think I will get a dog again someday.

I will probably come down to Vancouver the actual Easter weekend. That is, the weekend Sandra is off in Ontario.

Love,

Rick

There really is nothing like having a dog! Max and Bella are numbers 5 and 6. I don't know what I would do without them..truly don't. they get me outdoors every day to walk them and I really enjoy that..but doubt I would walk every day unless I had them to walk with.

They will be our last dogs though, because we are 74 and 80 this year and we never know when we will have to move into a senior's apartment.

Isn't Haiti a lovely dog? Very pretty and one can see how much she love Kim and visa versa. How nice they came for a visit.

What is Kim going to study in the fall? Education? Often that is what fine arts grads take once they get their degree.. Working as an artist isn't too realistic...it isn't many that make good money at it. So teaching is a great choice.

We had a good day in Winnipeg. Carl's two doctor's appointments went well. The Opthomologist said his eyes are excellent and the rheumatologist said he is in remission. They are a married couple and work in the same clinic so it is handy.

There was ice fog on the drive in and places where it settled on the highway but it didn't bother me driving. I was really tired on the way home, due to not sleeping well the night before so Carl took over at the Casino...we just stopped there to change seats. It is half way home.

Gosh with Sandra being away for Easter, what are you going to do for Easter supper?
You could come to our house if we lived near each other! I am making turkey supper. bought a 17 lb turkey.

Have a lovely evening,
Love, Nancy

Sandra has invited those of us who can come to an early Easter party.

Yes a turkey dinner would be great Nancy thanks for the invite.

Rick I hope this means you are improving.

A rainy cold day.
