CRAZY

Yes Ken you did leave one sock behind.  You will have to come back and get it.

I am thinking about how we are driving our kids crazy.  This is what you do when you live long enough.  The thing is we are also driving each other crazy.  I admit I am confused about a lot of things, but am trying to give away some of my favorite things because it is time.  It makes no sense just to store things.

The important thing is to keep a sense of humor.

Dad looked up the Stem Cell group in Van.

We are now going shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart and then on to the Gold Course for lunch.  Good to take advantage of a sunny day.

Trying to make decisions can drive one crazy!

Good news Dad may call the stem cell clinic soon. Didn’t miss that sock yet.

I think we are going down the same path, Beth! Crazy! I don't know what to do...sell the house, move to the city, OR, stay here as long as our Son can help us. Some days I think Carl should be in a nursing home, when the days are rough and others he can be almost back to normal. Some days I think I can live here by myself if he has to go into a nursing home and others I don't.....It is CRAZY!

I just wish could remain as they always have, but know it is time and we have to make decisions too...but darn it all, it is hard.

Well that is good about Larry calling the stem cell clinic..not sure why, but if it helps with his health that is wonderful. Go for it Larry. I know quite a few people who have been helped a lot with stem cell treatments.

Today was such a good day. My little piano students are back! The brother and sister and they are good students and talented. Ages 7 and 9. The little girl is serious and little boy is a bit of a mischief, but both well behaved at their lessons. So cute. The mom was playing hockey with the boy in our drive way while the little girl had her lesson. So cute.

I was off early to the lab to have my blood work done. It was so beautiful travelling along the Winnipeg River with hoar frost on the trees...some of the rapids were open and the intense blue of the river and the sky against the hoar frost was stunning.

Is thursday the 20% off day for seniors at Shoppers Drug Mart, in Vancouver too? I always seem to miss it! darn.

hmmm maybe the sock belongs to Kim?

It has been such a lovely week and continues to be...but tomorrow is the last day...we start with rain then snow and it will be nasty with what the weatherman calls a Colorado Low coming our way and they are always packed with a large amount of snow and usually blizzard conditions. that will be Sunday night and Monday into Tuesday. it is a good thing we are all stocked up! march came in like a lamb so look out at the end of March!

I am going to watch Maigrot tonight...the tv series . I was going to watch it last night and was too tired and my book was calling me! It is near the end. All 578 pages of it! A tome!

I wish you a lovely evening,

Love ,Nancy

Really it is indecision that drives people crazy. Has been a very hard week on Mary as the document the lawyer did up to serve on Mike rather alarmed her and so everything is still in limbo.

Her lawyer in on holiday, people who say they want to buy their house are playing games and dragging things out. I know it is driving me crazy so am sure Mary is not having an easy time either.

Why are you giving away favourite things, doesn't it make more sense to give away things you dont like?

Nancy I relate to what you are saying?
Did I read you may come out here for a visit?
That would be awesome.

That must be so hard on Mary
but you have to be tough some times.

I am trying to get rid of some things
but it is not easy. Lots of favorites.

If we sell the house we want to have one last vacation on Vancouver Island...do some touring around. We would drive through Vancouver and would love to stop in and meet you and Larry and have a visit. It would be so nice to finally meet you. So we will see what happens, but I think selling the house is a must and moving to Winnipeg...too many health problems with Carl and he has lots of surgeries coming up too.

He is having his bladder tumor re sectioned in April. He has two abdominal aneurysms and they will need surgery in the next year or two.

Yes, i sure do hear you on getting rid of stuff...it is awfully hard and some of the things I gave away I still miss. But we have to do it! I have so many stuffed chairs...three in the sunroom that we aren't using. Guess they will have to go. I gave away a lot of my clothes...I had away too much and I gave away about half the books and will have to do another half again.

I wish you luck in your downsizing too...it sure is hard. they say make a pile to give away a pile to keep and a pile of maybes....

Well i am off to watch curling...my favourite of the curling season...The Men's Briar.

have a wonderful evening,

Love, Nancy
