THE WILD OCEAN
It never stops pounding the shore and hitting the rocks creating noise and huge sprays of water. I wish I could capture the amazing energy and uniqueness of the natural beauty.
It was spiritual and awe inspiring as well!
Everyone was happy to relax.
Ben and Morgan wait for directions. Morgan will go to the store with Grams Carol and her mom.
Ben posed for a picture of chopping wood.
With a little practice I know he could do it.
Oliver gathers his own wood and keeps his home warm and comfortable.
Windy and cold outside on the ferry. The weather was wet when we left Delta.
Just happy to be together and to leave all worries behind!

Yes it was rather coo land windy out on the deck - as you can see not to many others out side. But a very smooth trip in a very new and large ferry.
Loved Oliver's home - just perfect for a first home - in a very special part of this strange world!!
Oh, you got to go on a new ferry. Did you get a good seat inside so you could see the water?
Just look at the scenery...so beautiful. You must feel re-rejuvenated after all the beauty and fresh air.
The children look very happy....I can just imagine how excited Ben would be to go surfing.
The new ferries look very modern, especially after travelling on those really old ones...like the Queen of Coquitlam....one time we were coming home on a ferry and it listed to the one side all the way...it even was difficult to walk...it was very windy and a little unerving to say the least. I was glad to arrive on land again.
What an amazing trip for you filled with lots of happy memories.
Love, Nancy
It's good when you get a bit of wind on the ferry - keeps the seagulls from trying to steal your food!
Love,
Rick
Yes you should know you and Carol worked on the ferries for about two summers I believe.
