WONDERINGS

P3080147
Off to church wondering what our new lady minister will be like?
We have had so many different ministers over the years, each one has been a blessing to some and yet found disfafour in the eyes of others.  Human nature has gives us a choice to discern what we want in our relationships.

P3130232I always wonder when we pass old buildings on the road if some one really lived there or was it an old barn.  Dad and I always find them interesting.

Our brains like to think logically using reason and facts but also intuition, imagination and emotions to explore life.

It has been proven that the more godly thoughts we have whether from a Christian point of view or as a Jew, a Muslim or a Hindu or an agnostic or an atheist these thoughts can change your brain.  Yhis dopes not mean that the bigger questions disappear.  The amazing news is that religious beliefs and experiences have been recorded as  having an affect on our brain.

Our brain creates a vast range of utopian, utilitarian, and sometimes useless theologies from complex moral value systems to the number of angels on the head of a pin.  So it is no wonder here has been the creation of thousands of difference spiritual practices and creeds that have become religions.

I should have put on a warmer jacket this morning to go to church because of the cold rain.

Our new minister is a native lady very pretty with black hair moving very gracefully from place to place.  She also likes to dance     I could not hear well but felt it was a loving message to include all of nature and humanity.

I wonder if we will be learning about native spirituality?

We had a lovely native lady who was a minister at our Anglican Church. She had the voice of an angel...it would ring throughout the church especially at Easter when she sang the Allelulias.

Those old abandoned buildings could tell many a story! There seems to be many in the state of North Dakota, where I have a friend. She often puts interesting pictures of old farms and churches on her facebook page.

Native spirituality is pretty very interesting. Our nearby reserve has a turtle house where they hold various meetings. There have a great regard for nature, as you said Beth. earth, fire, water etc are important. I was in the hospital last spring where there were quite a few native people and learned a lot. I would like to attend some if the meetings at the Turtle house,

Love, nancy

That is nice that you have someone new. I wonder how long it will be before there are complaints about her?
Randy worked all weekend so we just did quick runs out between the time he woke up and had to leave for work.
I did get another section of my garden cleaned, hopefully Peanut stays out this year.

Peanuts are hard to train!

At least it is not raining for my walk this morning.

Prayers must be helping. Lincoln has been very sick with pneumonia I just learned. He has an inhaler.

Mary's precious little one is in the right position for his arrival here. Good news.
