THE WALL

The wall separates the dogs from one side from the dogs walking by in the park.  The dogs inside the yard start barking to let those walking by know that they are guarding their territory.
A sunny day for a walk and got home in time to visit with Sandra. and then dad and I went looking for Canadian calendars but couldn't fine any.

The wall can be used as a protection that separates or it can be a means of communication. We like our privacy.  Two prisoners taped on the wall that separated them by taping messages on it.  I am here are you there?

In our lives the wall can be a divider between us and the amazing energy of our Creator.  The has been built brick by brick with doubt and unbelief.

Prayer is the belief that there is no wall but a listener who hears our thoughts and prayers with a heart full of love and compassion.

Prayer is a powerful source of energy that can lift our spirits
heal our wounds by healing our hearts,
forgive our transgressions,
guide our journey,
bring light into the soul's darkness,
heal our sickness or  give us courage and strength to continue our journey.

Prayer a new kind of alertness to the present moment and the beauty of now.

The ability to accept change and loss with grace!

Prayer is capturing our thoughts with words that fly free on the wind!

All we have to do is to wait and to listen!

Itoday is Monday the 11th , Jasmines birthday. ( here )
I jumped into our little pool head first , nearly broke my neck. With us starting our holiday on Wednesday , it will be a small party for Jasmine . Just family over for pizza and cake. Yes I'm up at 5am to watch the Seahawks , much better than the Canucks.

The wall can represent the challenges we have in life and how we deal with them too! Some folks jump right over and others never do!

These past few years there is a dirth of calendars....remember when business' used to give them out and we would end up with a large pile to choose from? Not any more!

Good grief, Ken could have been seriously hurt...glad that he is OK!

We are in the grips of winter now....the coldest of the cold...but it is rather nice. Fresh, invigorating air as long as you are dressed for it. Can't go anywhere without ski pants and a warm parka. I feed the birds twice a day now....morning and an hour before dark so they have energy to get through the cold nights.

Love, Nancy
