TWINS

The shower which was called a non-shower was for Desirae but a celebration of new life.
She is expecting twins.  That is her daughter in the arms of  husband behind her.

Her sister Tavia is holding her young son in a snuggle thing on her chest.

Her other sister is the blonde in the back row beside a family friend.

The youngest sister was sitting on the floor.
Another gram ma and grandpa had already left.  Cathy is beside me and Glen her husband took the picture as did Larry.

Dad and I have enjoyed being a part of their family and seeing these young girls grow and mature.  There are many lessons we will be faced with that force us to change and mature.

I was reading a book that said we can skip lessons in school but not in life.

I am still very tired today but am trying to think positive and breath in new life.

Twins...oh boy, aren't they going to be busy! Especially with a little girl as well. It is a good thing they are young. When is the new mother to be expecting? Thanks for the photos and comments...not I know who they are!
There is a couple who live here and they are in their late thirties. She has MS and had a stroke a few years ago. Miraculously, she had a baby boy a few weeks ago. The whole community is soo excited for them. They are over the top in happiness with their newborn babe.

We are off to Winnipeg today to see our wonderful doctor. Just a checkup. Tomorrow Carl sees the vascular surgeon and will then have to decide if he wants to have surgery on his abdominal aneurysm. It is large enough for surgery now.
It doesn't bother him at all...but is quite dangerous. His brother had the same thing and chose not to have the surgery and died in his home...whatever Carl decides I will agree with. It is his decision.

Finally it feels like summer is around the corner today. The overnight lows are much above 0C....so the plants can remain outdoors now. WHEW! no more in and out.

We have seen a smaller bear a few times on our walks...he always takes a look and beats a hasty retreat into the woods.

Did you read the article that Rick posted on FB about the United church minister who is an atheist? Apparently her "church" has attracted folks who never went to church before. What are you thoughts about here? I found it interesting.

Well have lots to do before we leave for the city....have a wonderful day

Love, Nancy
