FINE

Dad is doing much better today. What is required is a mental toughness like long distance runners have to continue even with some pain.   Good enough to say he is fine although in reality he is not there yet!

Kim drops in from school and then leaves for work.  Looking fine!

Ken and I went for a walk in the light rain.  I know I feel better with having a bit of exercise.
and it helps to have someone along.

Leah and baby are doing well and we received another picture.

Yesterday we enjoyed a visit with Melina.  She was glad to be home from the hospital and she is cheerful and doing fine.

Jasmine loves being on camera and showed us what she can do with a hand stand etc.  She also sang us a song.  Matthew did tricks in the back ground.  How wonderful to see these children so active and happy.  Thankfully there is always something to laugh about.

Some times the purposes of life seem unknowable but are revealed later, but one think I know we are all human and make mistakes.  Dad will learn by making mistakes what he can eat and how much.  I know that one day he will say he is fine and it will be the truth!

Sorry to hear that Larry had had a bad day but glad that you were able to get out for a walk and that the family are being so helpful. We are off for a visit today with kiera and Tony on Bowan Island so we are hoping that it will stay fine. All good wishes . Love , Jane

Isn't Kim a beautiful young lady? She radiates goodness inside and out. One can see it! Is she living back with you and Larry now? That would be great because she can do some cooking and shopping for you.

WOW, that Larry you sure are making a great recovery from your surgery. Keep up the good work!

Would you be able to post some photos of Leah's new baby? How are they doing...everything good? I know they were doing some tests.

I taught a piano lesson to my favourite student...( yes, I know I shouldn't have a favourite)...but I have been teaching her for 6 years now and I teach her art too. She is so talented in both.PLus her parents and grandparents are friends too. She is one in million. She is 15 now and her name is Jessie. Her Mom bought a brand new van last week and hit a large bear on Monday night...killed the bear and did a lot of damage to her van. Fortunately Jessie and her mom are OK. But the bear "bit the dust" in the ditch.

I loved walking in a light rain at the coast....it is so relaxing. We used to go walking at dawn, with our dog...through Rathtrevor Park on the Island. Such a lovely place. I would love to go back there one last time. Maybe one day.

You are so lucky to have your son there and he is willing to walk with you and take you shopping. Can you imagine how people feel who have no children? We are so blessed aren't we? Our sons have been in our lives pretty much every day...once they left home they built homes next door.

Well, the Blue Jays game is starting. Time to watch ball!

Have a wonderful day with your family,

Love, Nancy
