There was a space then the big group came right in front of me. Very exciting.
The winner was Steve Fisher of Bellingham, Wash. surprising the European Pros and top North American riders. He is 5-6 and 125 pounds a pint sized amateur. He won the race and also won the prize money!
Sometimes dad and I miss being in the race of everyday activities but we realize that everyone has limitations on their lives; which can be sickness, anxiety, fear, money problems, or relationships that you wish there was more understanding.
Dad rode his bike several times last week and had a couple of walks in the forest. He is trying some new exercises to help the pain in his buttock which is a form of sciatica. Yes, not feeling good is very discouraging especially for some one who has been so active.
The best thing to do is keep a spirit of wonder and enjoy all the simple pleasures of life.
I am writing in a hurry. I have just made up beds for Kim and Theresa and Morgan and Ben. Theresa will pick up Kim at midnight. We understood she would just take a taxi here so plans changed suddenly.
So the "dance of life" goes on around us and we enjoy watching!

Does Dad really want you blogging about his buttocks? :-)
Not only that, there is the eventually printed and bound edition. Dad's bum will be immortal!
