SHINING

                                                       SUNSHINE

I met the most amazing person on Tuesday.  She actually glowed with a spiritual light of joy.
There is a refining beauty that comes upon the face of those who are going through tough times of suffering.  This lady has had cancer in three places, liver, bowel and now the lungs.  She has had operations and is now getting kemo.  Her latest scan showed the spots in the lings shrinking.  She is very happy and excited about this.

She credits all the prayers that have helped her through these illnesses and the love of her family.  She is a true blessing to others because she is so positive.  She is also very honest about the way being difficult.  No one likes to be in pain as it makes life so difficult and is so limiting, but knowing others have found strength and courage certainly helps.

I feel so fortunate to be able to enjoy so many things in life.  We are enjoying having Carol and Panteli so very much they lighten our day.

Walking in the forest with dad, enjoying seeing the dogs playing, just breathing the air and seeing the sunlight on the trees.  So thankful that when dad's hip hurts if he rests it gets better.  We do lots of stopping for that reason and as I take pictures.

No matter what problems we are having, and we all have some,  we are learning about caring and feeling from the heart.  Listen to the birds, listen to the wind and walk on down the path that draws us into the love of the Creator and we feel the prayers of others and send our love through our prayers.

Nourishment for our souls.
