KNOWING

There is a knowing deep inside of us how deeply we are loved.

Melina I am so sorry to hear your mom is not well.  I hope she will regain her health quickly.

I can be thankful to walk and enjoy the sun dappling through the leaves and the warmth on my back and knowing each day I will walk on past this tree as I start to regain my strength.  I feel that I am doing so much better.

Just as there are varieties of plants and trees each one of us is unique and our lives are meant to be filled with the love of the energy that surrounds us all.

Knowledge that is based on reason has the power to transform us intellectually, emotionally, intuitively, and relationally and open us to the awe of our own humanness.

There is beauty in reason when it takes us on a journey beyond our own limitations into the desire to set the oppressed free  and heal the broken-hearted and destroy the power of fear that makes others our enemies.  This has been the mission of the church; to allow people to think for themselves and to see the need of change and restoration.

Forgiveness flows out of reason mixed with the mystical as each one of us has the potential to be transformed by words, ideas, art and music.  We have been called to serve one another with the tenderness of spirit that creates compassion.

Christian creeds or set of beliefs are similar to the three jewels of Buddhism.  First we take refuge in Buddha (Jesus) second we take refuge in teaching and third we take refuge in Sangha  (community).
Becoming followers of Jesus we believe in forgiveness, love and justice that is open to the leading of the Spirit and the very heart of our faith.

Knowing that in every crisis there is opportunity.  One can even feel a sense of awe in the unknown, "as one turns to ancient understanding, of finding a forgotten path of wonder and awe through the wilderness of human chaos and change."     -Christianity After Religion

The secret is learning to listen!

We certainly are lucky to have such a nice long stretch of fall weather. Makes the fall colours so pretty. I will pick up Mary at 7 tonight. We will drop by Saturday or Sunday. Sandra

Thank you for the words of wisdom this morning which have the power to help me through the chaos of the many things calling for attention at this time. The fall colours seem particularly brilliant this year l think it might have something to do with the wonderful summer we have had. Take good care of yourself . Bye for now . Jane.
