A TURTLE

P6171319
I am a slow moving turtle very clumsy.
but I am thankful to be moving.  I can even cut a graceful figure as I climb the stairs.  I do walk funny and have poor balance but I can learn to live with it.  So I have a Brain that has a mind of its own, very nervy I think, I have good days so I will enjoy them.  I have good friends who will understand.

This is because I appear to have a strange brain disease which is still under investigation.  I need to see a specialists and I need to get back to being myself.

I feel very badly for the extra pain I have caused dad when he is helping me up.  We need lessons from Leah because there are easier ways to do it and also we have a back support would help.
We often hurt those we love the most often  unintentionally.

P6171324I have heard of the "middle path" of the Buddha which is harmony.  I questioned the monk about it because it seems so narrow.
His reply: Make the middle path so big that you can never fall off of it"

Be inclusive and live in harmony.  I need to learn more.

It was very nice of Dr Nolte to set us all straight and tell us to be nice to you. Just a thought, but if you need to be doing exercises for your walking and balance, maybe you should be doing some for your brain? I guess you saw we cancelled for today and rescheduled for Tuesday. If you and dad would like to drop by earlier with Rick as I assume he will be driving home that day it is fine. Carol and Panteli will even be able to make it and I think Theresa will drop by as well. Sandra

Rick was at the airport yesterday on his way back from Halifac and kept on going home knowing it was cancelled.
Thanks for asking us over it will be dependent on how I am feeling.

I hada very short walk and I have a nasty cough but maybe it will go away.

That is a nervy thing, to have a brain with a mind of it's own! LOL!
I am glad you still have your sense of humour, Beth...and a positive outlook! things will get better. Life sure is not easy at times.

Sorry to hear that Larry is having pain too...that makes it difficult when you both are not well. I hope that tomorrow will bring better things to you both.
Maybe you should get some help in the house? I know I really appreciated the help when I came home from the hospital.

We are having a blustery storm, almost like an autumn storm, with strong winds and rain. There is flooding and high waters here, but is worse in western MB. Our power has been sporadic and there are limbs and leaves off trees everywhere. A good day to stay home and watch soccer...we hope that the power stays on for the games.

Sending prayers and healing thoughts for you both,
Love, Nancy
