LOOKING BACK

P6081242
Looking back I know I will be thankful that we made an appearance at Kim’s birthday Party.  Knowing that I was feeling depressed about not going helped to change dad'smind.  We drove along the country roads at a leisurely speed and there where very few stop signs, and the drive was very enjoyable.

Lots of important people where there.

Dad had a good time talking to everyone.

Kim wanted a picture of her in her cake how the little ones do so here she is!  Here she is.

Whoops I missed Kim

Sandra wanted her noseP6081265
Then her mouth separate for some strange reason.  We do not see the grandchildren from Chilliwack very often anymore.  Everyone is so busy.  Oliver is busy too and may even buy a house over on the Island.

Dad and I are inspirations just by making an effort to turn up.  We have come through many trials and thankfully have had victories over even our failures.

Hey, it sure looks like it was a great day for Kim's Birthday! Was that at Cultus Lake? Carol and I are quite busy packing up the house and cleaning up and stuff, and getting ready for Panama. We leave on Thursday. There are a couple of pubs here that show the Stanley Cup finals, but I just read about it in the paper the next day. I think I'm going for Los angeles! xo Panteli

Oh, I did miss yesterdays blog. I think I headed out to the garden right after my walk as a weed caught my eye. It was a nice surprise to see you and dad show up. I had a surprise Skype visit with Cameron and Shandel after I got home. That was nice too. Oh, and good job with my nose and mouth shots! That was copying a tv show I am watching right now. Sandra

Yes it was Cultus Lake,
Enjoy your visit to the Panama, should be exciting.
We will be watching the game here to-night for sure.
Dad may be going to get his painful eye checked out today.
I am out for my walk now,

I told dad he could stay in the car if the walk to the picnic area was to far. He really enjoys himself when he gets there as I do too. Morgan and Kim's girl friend went in the water.

Taking children places keeps you busy and maybe tired too.

OH, I am so glad you two made it out to the birthday party! It must have been a lovely drive...you must have taken the back roads, not #1. We always saw the sign for Cutlus Lake when driving by on #1, but never had the time to go there. My goodness it is beautiful.
Your pictures, as always, are great...funny one of Sandra and the nose and mouth! Must be something she saw somewhere.
Aren't your granddaughters pretty girls!
The squirrel is driving Max and Bella nuts....he comes to the window ledge where we feed the birds and Max and Bella run from the love seat to the door trying to keep up with him. They are absolutely wonderful dogs..so glad we adopted them in January. They have been a great comfort to me while sick. I hope to start short walks with them soon and build up to our 45 minute walks.

Love, nancy

Animals help lift our spirits and are so wonderful to adopt.they truly are your best friend. SO cute to see them try to interact with other animals. You will love your walks when you get going. and so will the pups! happy walking.
