I figured it would be a day just to stay in and read but by noon the wind and rain had stopped and the sun was out.
I had a short walk and dad decided to go for a bike ride. He never made it out of the driveway. It started going too fast and he put the brakes on and it stopped suddenly, too suddenly sending him over the handle bars. A bloody elbow and knee and hurt shoulder was the result.He stumbled in the house in shock and disappointment. Very traumatic!
Instead of a wild ride in the forest he spent the afternoon reading and so did I.
We watched the baseball and now the hockey.
We are suppose to be getting more wild weather. It is amazing how the weather can change in one day. We have to continue to live with hope and patience and a willingness to keep trying.
Our lives, our world is changing.

Sorry to hear dad had a tumble. It was so nice out in the afternoon. But if all he gots was bumps and bruises then that is something to be thankful for.
Randy is off from work again today with his cold. He sounds better and I am sure he will got over it faster than I did.
Gave Peanut pumpkin and she seems to be doing better.

Yes Sandra dad just has bumps and bruises and cuts and aches and pain.
He can take it easy so that is good.
Pumpkin seeds are suppose to be good for you.

Hope Dad is feeling better. A Canucks shut out win would make him feel better. Kids got their Halloween cards thank you.

Dad is extra sore today and he fell asleep during the hockey game
Wanted to know who scored but I do not know these young fellows well.
Burrows used ti be one of my favorites.
Today has been quiet for us both.
To-morrow our books our due at the library
and I need to pick up stuff at the store.
