ANGELS

"Keep on loving each others as brothers.  Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing so some people have entertained angels, without knowing it."  Hebrews 13:2  Angels are not to be worshiped as they are only messengers of God the creator of all.

Meeting new friends.  A home schooling mom.

“We can do so little to help the sad and suffering in the world-the lonely, bereaved, despised, exiled, sick in mind and body, the cold and hungry.
Yet we can reach out to those within our knowledge, with courtesy and kindness, an unexpected gift, or a visit.
Treating them with respect,  honouring their courage, listening to their stories.
For every kindness spreads a shining circle.  See how good people everywhere set rings of light moving against the darkness, rings that link and interlock.”  --Pam Brown  1928

One of the ladies had angel cards and we could chose one.  There were discerning angels, strong and mighty angels, healing and loving angels, but the card I picked was a children's angel. The one that has a ministry to children.  Also a childlike heart.  This made me feel happy.

The young man who saw me fall on the driveway and came over to help up certainly looked like an angel.  He was all in white, white shirt and shorts and had beautiful eyes and so very caring. An angel?

I believe we live in a universe of wonder, far beyond our greatest imaginings, beyond our comprehension.

Yes, I believe in angels that can appear even at the end of our bed! !  I  believe people can be angels and appear at the right moment to lift us up physically or spiritually. The seen and unseen.

Faith is a gift when we learn to believe in ourselves, in the goodness of others even when they think differently.   Faith to believe in new possibilities no matter our age or our capabilities.

Jesus did suggest that we become like a child, to be open to wonder and amazement..

"Always hold fast to the present.  Every situation, indeed every moment, is of infinite value, for it is the representative of a whole eternity."  Johann Wolfgang Von  Goethe.

What a lovely idea Beth...angel cards. I may paint some and give them to people too. Could be a group project for our church and then a fund raiser. hmmmm got me thinking!
What a lovely and thoughtful young man who helped you when you fell..a true angel all in white. My husband too, had an angel help him yesterday, actually three. He fell in the COSTCO parking lot...and couldn't get up. It took three men to get him on his feet. Thank goodness for angels. Have a great day, love, Nancy

Hmm, a good purpose to life, to be someone's angel. I have to look for more opportunities to put on some wings. Sandra
