THE NEW HOME
The door was open and Randy was there waiting for the moving men. They live on one of those fantastic streets lined with trees and a little round green area in front.
I loved the curved stairway ands big entrance way.
This is the view from the top of the stairs out to the front street. It turned out to be a perfect day not too hot but with a little breeze too.
Sandra arrived an hour later and had some lunch. We had a short visit then they were going back to their own place. The dogs will have their fenced home moved because they will probably try to dig their way out. The cats will be picked up on the next trip back. They were given tranquilizers and each one acted differently. One was sleep and one was very happy and followed the movers around.
Lots of decisions ahead. Both looked very, very tired.
Their yard , at the old place was so beautiful with all its flower beds and big back yard. Our whole family has so many great memories there, Great memories of happy times. It will take time to adjust.
Thanksgiving will bring us all to the new home for a open house celebration. Mary will be here with her new little baby Simone.
Everything has happened for them at once, the trip to Edmonton to see Stephen and Shawna's new baby boy. Randy showed me a video on his phone when he was getting changed and not happy about it. We will see him at Christmas.
So new home, new grand babies, new memories.
Both Lucy and Peanut where thrown in the pool and had a good swim around.
I thought I might be next so it was time to leave and they were actually going back to their old place.
Still some final touches to be completed.

Looks good.
How wonderful for Sandra and Randy to have such a lovely home...Beth you gave a good report and pictures of the new house. They must be so tired..do they live nearby? I am grateful that our two sons live just 5 minutes away..that is walking! We live on land that belonged to Carl's grandparents..the Ateah Homestead. Quite a legacy they left us! Today was another lovely morning...feels like autumn. If only each of us could be like you, Beth and do our part to improve the world..whether visiting those in need, or cleaning up messy places...it would be a kind world..not the cruel world we so often see. I admire you. Love, Nancy
Looks nice , at least someone enjoyed the pool.
