I think I can do all the changing back in one day forgetting that it took weeks to gather and put things in place. It was a fun time of anticipation and excitement. I wanted our home to be kid friendly and also safe and that they would experience Canada as a fun place to live. It is good to keep busy and not be so aware of how quiet our home is now.
Sandra and Randy will be having a busy time packing and preparing to move. Also an exciting time.
It was good to get to know all the children. They are so special in many ways. All three children. Thank you for the generous gifts you gave us.
Dad and I enjoyed going to Cathy's 50 birthday and seeing all her children and one grandchild. Desirae was there with their adorable baby girl about the same age as Simone. One of their friends plays the bagpipes and Glen had surprised Cathy when we heard the music from out in the garden. Next thing we knew the family were all dancing up a storm and having a great time.
Time for a rest and then to a community art show where Morgan had a picture on display. It was a promotion for helping people to understand the stories of new comer's to our community through hearing stories and seeing art on display. It can feel lonely coming to a new country. I will add pictures later. We came home and watched Heartbeat and went to bed.
I liked the words of one person who commented that art communicates and also strengthens the spirit.

Morgan is so excited that she will be in the Surrey Now, she could hardly wait to get home and tell her mom! They are all sleeping now, it's 5:30 am and I'm at Tim Hortons. xo

Oh, they dont deliver the paper to me, I will miss getting to see it. It is hard work to put everything back to where it was, but also there is something calming to restoring order. Nothing calm about my house right now.Sandra

That is an excellent picture that Morgan drew. lots of movement and colour. I especially like the musical notes...AND Morgan got them done correctly....even some adults do not know how to make musical notes.
I may be teaching kids art on line and will let you know if I get it organized.
Beth, that is amazing that you helped this family for so many years...did you go once a week to look after the girls while the mom had some time to herself? Amazing gift to them. Tomorrow we have our sons work crew here to finish our bathroom renos...YES! Love Nancy
