BATTERY

My battery on my camera ran out when I was taking pictures at the concert.  This is a picture of us driving home after a very enjoyable busy day that started

out with lots of snow around our neighborhood. but a very promising light in the sky.  The drive was awesome as we drove along with the light shining under the clouds.  The roads were clear and the only trouble spot was a detour that would take us in a very round about way.  Dad was tricky and found a way not to have to detour.

Here we arrive at Theresa and Mikie’s home.  The children were worn out after a long time standing and singing.  Morgan had a few lines to deliver but her little  mike was turned off.  Both Ben and Morgan put a lot of energy into the singing which was delightful and at times the enthusiasm was so great they were belting the songs out.  Just wonderful to see all those young ones, full of energy and life.

Ben did a good job playing his guitar and there was a little group of them set up just like an orchestra with notes before them on a stand.

We had a meal at Theresa's prepared by Kim and Theresa with Ben doing the honors of peeling the potatoes.  Morgan read out some letters to Santa from the newspaper and Ben put on hockey for grandpa.

I know that my battery was running low and we were gathering up our things to leave when Chuck, Robbie's husband arrived.  We stayed and had a visit with him.  It has been a very difficult year for him.

Just as we headed for the car Carol and Pentali arrived looking weary too.

Christmas reminds us that grace will carry us all the way home which is good news for weary travellers.

Sad news that my cousin Sheila in England is losing her battle with cancer.  I think Ken you were the only one that met her and her husband Bill when they visited us years ago.  She is a delightful person and we thoroughly enjoyed their visit.

I am back walking again this morning.  I cannot believe it is Thursday already.  Time flys by for us but Morgan  is anxious for Christmas to come!

Sad news about Sheila. Looks like a good day at the concert. You should look at staying over , it's a long drive home.
