DESTINATION VANCOUVER
What a day! It was magical, lots of emotion and happiness all wrapped up together. There were big white clouds in the sky as we drove into town. Dad did a good job and since we ended up in the wrong parking lot we got a place to park right away.
Theresa parked right under the theatre and they were there early so could
do a little walking around.
We all meet up at the theatre I was trying to hurry and take a picture,
A very delightful family tradition.
The theatre looked full of happy people from all ages. There was a tiny baby to some one 95. Now that is amazing. The music was excellent with three girls singing with a big base and a piano. I always thing of Oliver when \I see someone playing the big base and it brings tears to my eyes. Some Christmas music which was lovely.
Stewart Mclean was hilarious as usual. It is so good to have a good laugh and just feel silly.
Two children are called up on stage to give away C.D.'s and books. Lots of children wanted to do it and Ben was one of them. He would have done a good job he is very confident on stage but he was not chosen this year.
Stuart ended with a comedy about our politics and it was hilarious.
We all piled in the van at the theatre parking lot and Theresa drove us to the Old Spaghetti Factory but it was difficult to find because we did not know the area very well. The G.P.S. did not either. We were late for our reservation so Carol hopped out to tell them we were coming while we drove around trying to find parking.
Dad did really well with all the walking we had to do to get from our parking spot to the restaurant. It was very busy and after a little wait which made us even more hungery. I enjoyed my meal as we all did. Good to see the children liked it too.
Then we had to leave Theresa, Ben and Morgan to find our parking garage. Actually Carol and I were a good finders and helped dad find the way. So wonderful but a little exhausting for me but worth every minute.
Came home and put our feet warmers in the bed and snuggled down with happy dreams.

You should take Carol with you. She is good at finding nice things. Both her and Theresa looked beautiful and I should have taken a picture in the lobby.
Love mom
