Yes dad and I had a very enjoyable day at the Christmas Tea put on by a group of ladies at church.
It was especially wonderful to sit with Jane and Geof and I was able to take their picture because dad found my camera. It was hidden in the cushion of the chair in our bedroom.
What a miserable drive for Jane to journey all the way here. Everyone was delighted to see them.
The church hall looked lovely with decorations and lights and fancy table cloths.
We had a good visit with all our friends.
An enjoyable way to start off the season.

Jane and Geoff are both looking very good, and it was a horrible day for driving. We were out shopping for the appliances for our kitchen and sink.
Good news dad found your camera.
December 1st! The year has flown by,
Called Shawana yesterday and found out her moms boyfriend of the past your and a half died after having an operation on his kidney. Something went wrong and 24 hours later or so he died of a heart attack.
I get my stitches out today, I hope my hand stops hurting then.

Hi Geoff and Jane! You both look very well and happy! Thanks for posting the photo. Beth! It is always nice to put a face to a name....just like getting to know your family thru your blog and photos. Jane does so well driving thru that Vancouver traffic. It is unreal! Carl always used to do the driving thru the cities, but in the last few years of travelling I had to learn how to drive thru them...Vancouver and Seattle were the worst. Jane does very well doesn't she?
The church Christmas party looks festive...I am thinking of going to the one at the church at GRand Marais. They have a large congregation contrary to the small Anglican church and two of my music students are part of the band.
Well, my goodness, how wonderful to hear Larry found your camera down the side of the chair! Now you are all set to take some photos and it is so much easier to take them when you see what you are taking through that window.
Gosh hearing about the fellow who died after an operation makes one realize how precious life really is. Anything can happen from day to day.
A friend moved out of a rental house in Qualicum Beach to another rental in Coombs and was going to stay overnight at the old place to meet cleaners in the morning...but stayed at her new place instead...she went back in the morning and it had burned down.
Now that is fate isn't it? She listened to her inner voice.
Well I will take it easy today, with this darned infection back again...makes one feel crappy...pardon the word!
I will make it a good day anyway.
I wish you a good day too,
Love Nancy
Sandra I think your hand should not be still hurting.
I would suggest having a doctor look at it.
Nancy sometimes crappy is the only word to use.
I wish everyone a good nights rest.
Love mom
It was great to see both of you yesterday and also so many of our good friends at Colebrook. What a wonderful spread they put on and even a number of delicious looking gluten free treats. The drive home was good not too much traffic and no rain. l was very grateful and we were home before dark. Thanks for your kind remarks Nancy l really enjoy reading your thoughtful words and insightful observations.
Today would have been our daughter Samantha's 50th birthday so it has been a difficult day .However we went to a gathering at the church organized by the north shore palliative care society .We enjoyed eating together and then had a short service of remembrance and then a candlelight Walk to a park by the sea wall where a tree was lit and then decorated with cards with written messages ' Honouring a life." it helps to take positive action and to share with others.l also have cards for the family to add to the tree if they wish to do so .Geof has been doing a bit of sneezing today .l hope it doesn't develop into something nasty. Well this is an unusual time of writing for me so its goodnight from me. love jane.
