CHARACTERS

Everyone loves the new kitchen.
Doing dishes is fun!

Hamlet enjoys the fun

                                               Warm enough to sit outdoors
Ophelia dozes off for a few minutes
The men chat in the other room
Getting ready to leave.
Justice and Ben take a break from playing basketball
to pose with Morgan.

Lots of food, lots of fun, lots of noise.
We even brought some food home,
Dad has had too many fish and chips
so it is great to have some healthy food.
I did miss going to church as it is always
wonderful to share the good news with good friends.

What great pictures of the gang at Sandras! It looks like a fabulous time for the Bennett clan. Did you have turkey for supper, with all the trimmings?Little Ophelia is growing so quickly and what a beautiful child she is! Is she crawling now? I have a friend ( one of my former students ) who has a baby who was born around the same time, Sept 8th and she is just starting to crawl.

Beth I am sorry I haven't been writing regularly on your blog and have missed reading it. I have read all the entries and am now officially "caught up"! I have been missing my lap top computer very much and don't often get on the desk top one. Hopefully my son will have my lap top fixed soon.

After a week of beautiful spring weather we had a blustery and snowy Easter Day yesterday. It was white everywhere one looked. Overnight there was more snow and windy as well. I heard it was blizzard conditions on the highway. Good thing we had Easter Supper here and no one had to travel. Today it will all melt as the temperature will be 6C. We have to take the dogs in for an appointment for a grooming so I am glad the highway will be OK.

I watched an interesting show on CBC last evening about the price of real estate in Vancouver and how the city put a 15% tax on foreign buyers now. I say they shut the barn doors after the horse got out! honestly I don't know how middle class families can afford to buy a home or condo there now. I know a few people who have moved back to the prairies saying it just wasn't a friendly place anymore. Such a beautiful city. I love Vancouver and of course Vancouver Island. Always wanted to live there, but my husband wouldn't leave his childhood home..Victoria Beach.

How are you and Larry feeling Beth? Are you having troubles with your walks? I pray for you to be stronger and to be able to walk further. Also pray the pain in Larry's feet becomes a lot better.Living with constant pain is so debilitating. I hope he is able to get out for some good bike rides.

I am having plastic surgery for the basal cell cancer on my nose in a couple of weeks. it will involve a skin graft because the area is large. It is the second time...but I am sure all will go well and that type of cancer doesn't usually travel anywhere else.
Otherwise I am very good.

I wish you a wonderful day, and hope to see you tomorrow on your blog!

Love, Nancy
