SIGNS APRIL 10

It is amazing how quick these flowers come out in bloom.
It seems like overnight. Signs of spring.

Bad news with the bombing of the Christian temples in Egypt.
So sad to see so much death and destruction.
Signs of more tragedy ahead.

Dad and I drove to White Rock to see my doctor in the morning. There were signs that the parking had gotten even worse at the basement garage parking.  There was a line of cars waiting to come out after having driven all around and found not one spot.  A car backing out of a spot would stop traffic all around both ways.  Many people will be looking for places out on the street which is soon filled up.

We were fortunate to e able to find a spot as we waited for some one to leave.

The new offices are clean and bright but the doctors were running late.  Dr. Nolte was in a good mood just back from holidays and reassured me he was glad I had come in.  He sent us to Jim Patterson for x-rays.  There was no seats available so a sign we were in for a long wait.  Two hours in fact.

We quick;y made sandwiches when we arrived home.

We have not talked about Tuesday yet.

This is Holy Week when Jesus arrives in Jerusalem and right away there are signs of trouble.

Jesus starts to act quickly when he enters the temple and destroys the tables of the money changers who are cheating people.  This was meant to be and still is today meant to be a safe place of prayer and worship.

Word gets back to Caiaphas, the leader of the Sanhedrin, who feels the religious leadership is being threatened.  Jesus accuses them of praying loft prayers and strutting around in flowing robes  impressed by their own piety.Even his disciples are frightened by the actions of Jesus, maybe Judas the most of all.

Jesus warns them that there will be a time when this temple will be completely distroyed and he will rebuild it in three days.  Could Jesus really be saying that his body will become the new temple?

This gives the authorities the reason to arrest him and even put him to death.

The spirit is like the wind and stirs up belief in miracles that are signs of who Jesus is.

I found the underground parking to be very tight. I wonder if they will be tearing down the old building and will have more parking over there?

Sold our freezer yesterday night. I was a bit nervous as it was a man that came and he asked for help to move it into his truck, asked if there was anyone else at home who could help.

I had actually meant to take the add down while Randy was gone but had forgotten.

Lovely moon this morning on my walk with Peanut.
