PROGRESS APRIL 9

Looks like the perfect place to cook up a storm!
The happy couple arrive in good time/

Kim's reaction was one of jumping up and down in excitement dad and I were also over joyed and happy at the great progress that had been made.

Then it was time to test and taste the success of her new appliances.

There will be lots of room for the family to prepare meals together as a family and also lots of room to clean up.  First the secret to turning on the water has to be learned.  An excellent meal of lasagna
salad and garlic bread was enjoyed by all.  I should have saved more room for the banana bread but my tummy was very full.

Then it was time for us to view the Elim Village a retirement community where you can choose independent  living or assisted, supported living.  It was kind of Sandra to make an appointment for us and we viewed one of the apartments.

Yes food for thought.  Dad and I know there will soon come a time to make changes so it is good to know what is available.  This will be viewed as progress as it is a time to relax and make new friends and treat ourselves to a comfortable lifestyle.

I have to come home and see if I can vision myself in a new life style.

"Everyday you may make progress
Every step may be fruitful
An ever lengthening ever ascending path lies ahead
You know the journey never ends
but now is the time to enjoy the progress of the climb."
-Winston Churchill

Thanks for dropping in, it was nice to have a maiden voyage for the kitchen with a small group.

I thought the Elim Village was nice. Certainly very well kept. Will you go ahead and look at the duplexes on Tuesday?

Momma cat is very dedicated and I am feeding her in the closet as she does not want to leave the kittens at all.

Another busy day for us taking all the blinds down getting ready for the windows to get replaced on Wednesday.
