PUZZLES APRIL 26

Life is a puzzle and I wonder if I will ever really figure it out.

Dad has bought a new shelve for my bathroom and is puzzled in try to fit it together.
His tools are safe in our bedroom.

The weather is a bit of a puzzle as it is cold in the morning but then warms up and spring is here.
Dad did not know where the lemon squares are or he would have come to grab them before they disappear.  I wonder if comments also seem to disappear.
Computers are still a puzzle for me.
Our Bible study was all about helping people in difficult circumstances and answering the questions seemed simple but putting the answers to work in real life is not so easy.
Several friends are facing tragic and difficult situations.
It is a puzzle to know what to say or do to be helpful.

Some people are willing to be supportive of our minister while others gossip and criticize.
Years ago we had a minister who would remind us that we were to love the unlovable which is not always easy.

Prayer is a puzzle and I believe every prayer is heard but not always answered in the way we hoped.
This can be prayer for ourselves or prayers for others.
The bottom line is that we are called to help one another.
We listen to their questions knowing that there are no easy answers.

God believes in us even if we do not believe in Him.
There is a spiritual strength within each one of us that is real and unique.

The answer that Paul received  was that the grace of God would be his strength.

Let Me be your strength.
Courage will come.
It is okay to question if we are willing to trust the answers.
Faith has healing, comforting power.
Living prayerfully is a challenge!

Well, a good puzzle is always a nice challenge and a good way to stave off boredom.

I was working at home yesterday and as the gas line was getting put in for the pool and it is always harder to stay focused. I stumbled on a problem from 2014 and it kept me busy trying to figure it out. Still did not get it solved. The same transactions went into two different programs but they ended up with different balances.

The gas man was there till after 7:00 and shortly after he left I told Randy I smell gas. And of course he says "well, I dont smell anything" he never does. We took peanut for her walk and then came home and of course as soon as I opened the door it was very strong. So I closed the door again and told Randy to come open it. He agreed so we called the gas guy back. He was there till 9:00. Never did get supper as we had planned on barbecuing and it is part of our gas line.

Very long day.

Talked to our other neighbor and he is going to rip out his hedge next week. That will really change the feel of the front of our house, as his hedge blocks our view of the road.

Wow good job you got that gas leak fixed.

If we do not have supper we have peanut butter sandwiches.

Some days do seem long.

Off to pick up Kim from the airport.

The tax people are giving dad a headache.

The ups and downs of life!
