THOUGHTFUL

Thoughtful morning in quiet prayer..
Then a short but fast walk enjoying the beauty of nature.

A thoughtful sermon  by our minister Daniel.  God has many names much like we have nick names that may be thoughtful but some times aare actually thoughtless.  The names for God came out of an oral tradition and are revealed in the stories in scripture and especially in the parables of Jesus.  The truth of the matter is that God is beyond any language and yet can beexperienced even in the face of a stranger.  The wonder of imagination and mystery.

Panteli thoughtfully volunteered  to do some pruning of the one tree whose branches had been damaged and killed by the snow and the other tree was overgrown and tangled  with the broken branches.  Lots of hard work on a warm sunny afternoon.  Even cleaned it up and put it in the brown bags.

It was very thoughtful of Carol to phone and  let us know she plans to come at the end of May.  It will be an exciting month with the Star Wars party coming up next Sat.  Randy and Sandra will deserve a reward for all the effort they  are putting in to make it a fun and festive time with costumes and all.

Dad had not been feeling good enough to attend church and was having doubts about going to Sandra and Randy's.  Sandra had been thoughtful in inviting us and making dad's favorite meat loaf.  And even apple pie!

Missy the cat likes to play games with us.  If you go to pet her she runs away and then later wants to climb on your lap.  Peanut is always happy to see us and likes lots of pats.

We are back home again and dad is watching his hockey game.  Sounds like some one has scored.

My day began with a thoughtful time of prayer and now ends with a prayer of thankfulness.

Not sure if that will take you to the link, but it is Bloodline on Netflix. Looks like they are going to have the final season starting this month, so a good time to watch the first two.

I am glad you were able to make it. Too often if it is just Randy and I we do not bother with supper, so we need to be feeding someone else to feed our selves!

oh, that is good news...the final season of Bloodline will be on soon! thanks, Sandra!
I have been waiting for it!

Beth that is such a pretty photo of the cherry blossoms.....you really do live in Lotus Land. Soon we will have pretty blossoms as well along with all that pollen. I must remember to keep the house windows closed, or it ends up in pollen all over. I have been sneezing from the poplar trees that were blooming last week. The catkins are now on the ground. But soon it will be the birch and the other trees.
I am waiting for the Lilacs to bloom and will have a watercolour workshop painting them. Always do...every year! it is kind of neat to think that long after I am gone the Lilacs I planted many years ago will be blooming each May. I guess the paintings will last a while too after I am no longer here!

How wonderful that you are asked out for Sunday supper at your Daughter's and son in law's.
You truly are blessed to have them living so close by.
also wonderful that Panteli came over and cut down the tree for you. Family truly are the best aren't they?

Where is Ben going? I am assuming it has to do with soccer? How is he enjoying going to school in Vancouver and playing with the whitecaps junior team?

I am going to take Max and Bella for a nice walk along Clubhouse beach....have to be careful though there is a bear around. he was spotted this morning just little ways from our house. Walking on the beach is good because i can see far ahead and of course it is so beautiful. The ice has gone from the lake now...no more blowing up north and then coming back with a north wind. The wind was from the north for about a week and the lake rose so high it was almost over the pier. Water comes up in the causeway and sometimes almost comes over the highway. thank goodness they built it up because it used to flood a lot and sometimes there was no highway access which cut victoria Beach off from the mainland.

I was glad to hear you were out for a quick walk too, Beth!

Have a wonderful day,
Love,
Nancy
