SEEDS

We plant seeds with hopeful expectation that they will grow. Jesus talked about how small a mustard seed is and I think the point was that even in this smallest of seeds the life energy of God is contained. Seeds certainly do not give the appearance that within them there is potential for beauty and growth.

The energy of God, the creator, in a small seed.

Ah, but there is the reality that not all seeds will grow. It may depend where we scatter them, or if the birds eat them or if we forget to care for them by watering them and cultivating the ground and destroying the weeds.

Weeds have life in them too. God realized that if life was too good too easy for us; we would not appreciate what we could do if we made an effort. Beauty only survives through us overcoming the evil that casts a shadow that we can never escape.

The energy of God is in our mistakes.
Evil plays a part in bringing us together because we need each other to fight against it. We learn to become stronger and we learn to destroy the weeds before they destroy what is beautiful.

Life is about choices. Some choices are difficult; the choice to forgive and to forget, but most choices are fairly easy as we decide what to eat or drink, to do what needs to be done. Some choices like allowing yourself to feel sadness we find our often just apart of life.

The love of God is purer and stronger in our sadness. Why, because His comfort becomes closer and encloses us with healing and restoring energy.
Like a seed that grows so slowly so does our soul grow slowly through all that is difficult. We make mistakes and laughter helps sometimes just to realize how human we are. Perfection lies in Goodness that continues to shine whether we are able to feel it or not. There is a Love, a force or an energy, that is pure like a beautiful sunset or a perfect flower. Love that is ablaze with color and life.
