THE SOUL

Good food, good laughs are food for the soul. Especially in this beautiful garden!
Our happy hostess Sandra

Here comes busy gramma Carol with the ice cream

Kim and Chris take time out from unpacking to visit.

Sandra and Randy have invited us over to have a barbecue . Leah and Craig are the first to arrive. Moments of joy are memories that live on. A day that began with a weary body and disappointment that I did not have the energy to go to church ended with happiness.

The soul has it's own energy and like the poet says "In my body He has kindled a lamp from His glory, it tells me of the paths of the wise, it is the light that shines in the days of youth and grows brighter in old age.

Within our soul we carry moral virtues; like kindness, generosity, love and purity. We also have within us all the ugly traits; like laziness and selfishness, pride and unforgiveness. An old Jewish tradition affirms that the soul is holy and pure and even in imperfection there is a grain of perfection that carries the possibility of growth and maturity.
"God goes by with a light footfall".
The mystery of the unknown is a challenge for all of us. Yet we are not alone.
