THE UNKNOWN

Many of us have journeyed away physical or maybe spiritually during this past Christmas celebration;  but our journey now continues into the unknown.  I believe that there is a light that helps show us the way.  Jesus who prepares a place for us here and now will do so in the future.

I often dream that I am in a room and the first thing I do is look for the light.

I do not know how the world was created but I believe that there was love and the love shone light into the darkness and the voice spoke and all that was meant to be was created; I do not know how long or exactly how but all of creation was good.

To declare oneself a Christian is not a safe thing to do with so many mocking voices criticizing the word of God and the church and the people of God.  Yes we live in a broken and confused world and those who have believed that they could find safety in faith find instead the need for courage to question and to examine their faith and their actions.

Christmas reminds us that there was a time for love to be born into a world of greed and pride and violence and to risk being totally human and to touch each one of us; one soul at a time.  An outrageous love expressed in the touch of a human hand, in the love of eyes looking into our eyes, to allow each one of us to see the holiness of the ground upon which we walk!

"For at that last day we shall truly understand the meaning of creation and the story of Genesis.  We sahll truly understand what it means to be co-creators with the Lord of Creation.

God's time is always Now, and in this Eternal Now
our Redeemer lives, and we shall see him face to face."
Madeliene L'Engle  in  the Genesis Triology

We have become His Beloved!
and we walk into the unknown together!
