SIMPLICITY
If I had known it was not me but my computer server it would have made life simpler. I kept doing all the things I think I am suppose to do like turning it right off and starting again.
I ended up going for a shorter walk and getting more advice. This time it was about lifting weights and it not only helps your bones but your mind so I had to go into the garage and drag huffing and puffing getting the old weights out.
Dad drove me to get my new drivers license and the picture is the worse ever. I will just have to laugh at this picture and hope my face does not often look like that too often. After lunch dad went for a walk in the park, which he does several times a week.
I have a new appointment for my M.R.I. which is March 2015.
I can live with that. It may not show anything anyway.
There will always be questions and usually no simplistic answers because our lives are so complex, and certainly when it comes to health issues.
"The apparatus inside our head is literally inconceivable in its complexity, perhaps containing a hundred billion neurons." -Richard Foster
We cannot expect our memory to be perfect and how I respond to that imperfection is up to me. We are too quick to blame the brain when a lot of the problem is in our mind.
"My brain never stops paying attention to what you tell it." - Rudolph Tanzi
So it comes back to living in the moment and paying attention to what we are doing. Dad and I are having great fun quick-stepping around the kitchen with our hoarse voices and hard of hearing ears trying to hear each other.
Today I have my echo-gram which is just resting and letting the attendant do the work.
I have found most of them cheerful and considerate.

i am surprised that you bothered to get your drivers license with how often you drive. Have you called to get your ducts cleaned yet? I am walking with the neighbour this morning, trying to get the dogs to be friends so they don't keep barking at each other over the fence.Kenny, go onto Facebook and put some new pictures up, I have not seen any for a long time. Sandra
Aren't those driver's licence pictures simply ghastly? They don't let you smile so it looks like a mug shot! YIKES.
Moving your MRI to almost a year from now...that is ridiculous. It is up to your doctor to request one earlier. I would speak to him. Considering the difficulties you are having, especially walking, you would think they would do it soon. You sure don't want to fall and break bones.
Waits here are not that long. I waited 6 weeks for am MRI of my head.
haha....both hoarse and hard of hearing...I HEAR you! I was hoarse for two months...and for a couple of weeks couldn't even talk on the phone. It is very annoying! I am still a little hoarse on the higher tones of speech..so will see the specialist in early August. I can see the two of you side stepping each other in the kitchen.
Carl is a large man and I have to clear out of the kitchen when he is in there.
Have a great day,
Love, Nancy
Both Matthew and Jasmine are home sick today. Just winter colds , sore throats , stuffy noses and coughs. It is so cold and it's the season for it . I attacked my toe with a toe nail clipper , and it is better I think, still tender , but a bit better .. Stupid doctors ! Melina working heaps this week , 3pm till 10pm, or 1:30 till 8pm. Plenty of people sick , so she is picking up extra work.

Oh, and is Carol picking you up on Friday?
I'm glad you renewed your drivers' licence, Beth. It's always good to have in an emergency even if you don't drive very much. It would be a real pain to have to go though the system again. It's also a big part in giving up your independence. Keep driving as long as you can.
