GENEROUS

PC091048There was a little knock at the door and of course Haiti heard it and started barking.  Right away it is into the laundry room behind closed doors.

It had been raining hard all night and by morning huge gusts of wind where blowing so hard the trees were bending over.
Gundy was standing in the rain with this lovely plant  in her small basket.  It is bursting with color!  What a surprise.  She tells me again she appreciates my friendship and I give her a hug even though she is not big on hugs.

Too bad her family does not appreciate her; we are truly blessed with our family.

Off to the eye doctor and they had the appointment time wrong, I had the card to prove it.  Waited there two and a half hours and came home with a sore back.
Immediately we went to the doctor and he read out the report on the CAT scan.  Dad has a severely blocked artery in his neck at the back which could not cause problems unless the other side acts up.
He goes to the neurologist on Monday to get a more detailed report.

Today we are off to Chilliwack for the concert with Morgan in a play and Ben singing a solo.

Hmm, that does not sound like good news. I meant to call last night but I was grumpy. I had been short with the helper ladies at Super Store and when I tried to apoligize it did not work. Oh well.

Good thing you had the card, not that it seemed to get you in any sooner.

Actually I did not have the card and dad automatically said I blew it again. I had been sure so he did not check. He was a little grumpy. My answer if check do not trust me. lol
Off to Chillliwack. I am not sure if I want to stay over at a hotel or motel. I get tired and find it confusing with a lot of people.
love mom
P.S. It could be worse about dad.

What a thoughtful thing for Gunty to do!
A pretty plant it is!

Sorry to hear about the blocked artery..it seems to be one thing after another as we get older. Good thing God made us with almost two of everything!

Carl was called in to our doctor...who had been on sick leave for a year...guess what it was for? He was low in vitamin D. Apparently almost everyone of us are low in vit D. It may be something you would like to take too. You can have a blood test for it.
Remember when our parents used to make us take it? YUCKY.

Have a great time at the concert and stay safe in that big storm. We saw it on the weather.

Love, Nancy

I'm in exams all day at Surrey, tehn pick up Carol at 4:30 and we'll be doing the drive with traffic in the rain all the way to Chilliack. Hopefully, we'll get tehr by 7:00 in time for Morgan's concert! Sounds like Grandpa's results ar a little bit bad and a little bit good at the same time. xo Panteli

The blocked artery sounds serious.

Glad Dad will be seeing the specialist.

Went to Parliament yesterday and saw some of the bullet holes.
