GROWTH

PC020953
Yes I was mixed up and it is Thursday.

Flying by on the way to White Rock.  Water looks frozen and lots of snow is on the ground.  I welcome the sun with a grateful heart! Tuesday.

The growth of the amount of cars on the road is mind boggling.  There is snow but not the good stuff you can make snow men out of, or snow ladies.

Not only is Kim feeding us (most of the time) but she is feeding a homeless man at the park.

That was the sad part going into the heart of downtown to see all the homeless ones.

The best gift at Christmas is the gift of love.  And of course family and friends!

It is amazing the growth that has taken place in a year for these our littlest ones.

Christianity grew out of the Jewish Faith.

The family tree of Jesus was full of shimmers, cheaters, immoral, fighting brothers, liars and thief's to name a few.  This is an old stump that may produce new grow in the months ahead but does not look too promising in the cold reality of winter bleakness.  New growth is always amazing.

The scripture promises that out of the stump of David's family will grow a shoot.  New hope, new beginnings, new freedom, the unexpected joy of gifts for us all to receive  yes for us all.

Isiah11:2,10.  Out of David's family will grow a shoot-
yes a new branch bearing fruit from the old root.  At church on Sunday we have what we call a Jesse tree which is a tree with bare branches on which anyone can hang ornaments.

But today is Thursday, right? Time is sure flying by. In less than a month we will be home from our visit to Ontario already.

This will be my last big study weekend, I can not wait for it to be over!

It is the park by you that Kimberly is handing out food?

Have you been by Carol and Panteli's place recently?

Yes, the littlest ones change the most.

Beth, I sent Carol a PM on her facebook page and I sent you and Larry an email to say that I think she has some money in a forgotten bank account in Surrey. I included a link to the Bank of Canada website where the money is. A friend of mine discovered it and let me know thinking it was Carl...but no it is Carol.

The pictures look like everything is frozen...it still must be cold there. We are expecting a warm-up for the next week, but it always comes with a snowfall. Much better to walk with the dogs.

It is a teaching day for me.....I am anxious to hear their Christmas music! They will play at church for the Christmas Eve service...before the service starts...while people are getting seated.

Have a great day,

Love, Nancy
