A stormy morning. The wind blowing the red bow nearly off the wall as dad and I start out to travel to Chilliwack. The wind was unbelievably strong and wants to pull the car off the road. The rain is fierce bouncing off the window of the car a very gray day. We are looking forward to the performance of our great-grandchildren.
Kim meets us at the Theatre.
We arrive at the theater. My camera cannot take good pictures but dad’s does so I will download them too.
Both Ben and Morgan sing with great expression in the opening choir. After several songs Ben climbs down from the back row to sing a solo. He has a high and beautiful voice that brings tears to my eyes.
Morgan takes part in the play that follows and she takes her part very seriously. She has a lot of words to remember and she speaks very clearly and from the heart. The story starts with the reindeer getting ready to deliver toys all around the world. Then the stage is filled with very colorful toys with children of all ages dancing and singing. It ends with Mrs. Santa happy to enjoy a quiet day when they all leave to bring joy to lots of children.
Kim has some nice snacks ready for us and we all were very hungry.
Mikie arrives home and his dad comes quickly after.
Everyone wants us to stay but dad’s feet are painful and we have a long drive home. Dad tells a few stories and then we off.
A fantastic, magical day!
The sky gets very dark and more rain is falling. The traffic would be wall to wall with big trucks spraying a misty cloud in front of us. Haiti is travelling in the car with us and we are all very happy to be home again.

Quite an adventure! Sounds like it was well worth it though. Ben and Morgan both seem so talented and outgoing!
Did Dad phone the City of Delta about Granny's grave maker?
Love,
Rick
Ben is looking so grownup! I was sad to miss it, but with my test tomorrow I am just focused on that.
It is too bad they do not live a little closer.
Sandra
Yes I would love to have them sing at our church.
Good luck on your test to-morrow. You have put a lot of effort into it so that helps the results to be good!
We believe in YOU!
Love mom and dad
We rally enjoyed the evening performance, except for the drive there in pouring rain. Glad you guys took some photos. They told us no flash cameras for the evening performance. xo Panteli

Well done Ben and Morgan. Jassy woke with a cold, runny nose etc. Both kids finish school next Friday.

Ben looks like an angel in his pic of him singing. All he needs is a halo! I would like to hear his singing....I see it is on his FB page...may ask to be a friend!
The concert looks like a great time...the Alexander children are very talented and outgoing. Good kids!
That was a long drive for you in bad weather...glad it all went well.Did you have to drive back in the dark?
We are having some weird warm pacific weather that made it over the mountains and all the way to MB. The temps are about freezing 0C and it is slushy and freezing rain making highways icy. Most people would rather have it about -10 and not mess or bad highways!
That is quite a storm out your way...we watched it on the news.
Good luck to Sandra on her exam...I am sure all will go well for you, Sandra.
Have a good rest when it is over!
Love,
Nancy
Yes dad and I drove home in the dark. We were pretty tired today but I did go visiting and took Jim a Christmas card. He is grouchy at first but he really was pleased.
Nice that Ken talked to dad when I was out. Enjoy your holidays Ken and get rested up.
love mom
I would really like to see and hear the video of Ben singing....I don't have Theresa's email and wonder if you, Beth or Larry could ask her or Mike to send it to me?
