GARDENS

PA310594
Even in the morning darkness the flowers look bright.

In the story of creation in the Bible life begins in a garden. It turns a mythical story into a beautiful beginning of life and God's desire to bring beauty into our lives.  The lack of trust is a poor beginning for a relationship, whether earthly or heavenly.  We  are reminded that life must leave from that garden on a journey helps us find our real selves.  A time to ask questions and wait for answers.

God learned his first lesson that not all was good and that human beings have to learn lessons the hard way.  He created us with minds and brains to learn how to make choices.

We do create religion in our own image so that for some it becomes for those who are in search of a cause  a violent reason to kill and destroy in God's name.

PA310602We also create celebrities in an image that wants them to be good.  How disappointing to find that like the rest of us they are flawed and imperfect human beings.

Life begins with choices.  What fruit to pick?  Who do I listen to?  Who and what do I trust.

'The unfolding of history enables us to see-and to respond to-new facets of meaning in the ancient dogma."  John Henry Newman.  It is a "balancing the changing circumstances of history with permanent things."  T.S. Elliot

The incarnation balances the human and the divine. Looking beyond the Enlightenment.

Dad and I planned to go to church until Sandra dropped by and a visit with her was more important.  She was filling in time until her foot could be x-rayed and the nuclear dye absorbed.  We all turn to the inter-net to find answers to our health problems and find it very helpful;  but it is good to know for sure the answers.  It was a fun morning so it was good.

Kim shopped and cook a special supper for us and her friend Shelly.  Dad does his best with chop-sticks.  Our conversation included nutrition and health, and the environment and pollution.
One by one we can make a difference in a world of indifference.
"As your mental garden fills with flowers, there's less room for weeds to grow." -R. Hanson

Sounds like a very fun dinner I missed. For what ever reason I was very tired, and my hip was sore from having to lie on my side so I just stopped for my gorcerie, had a visit with Randy before he left for work and then had a nap. Sandra

chop-sticks are difficult.

our gardens are now at sleep. The flowers froze a couple of nights ago...even the hardy pansies. But we know they will awaken in the spring...which gives us hope!I guess one could call it the rhythm of the universe.

Kim must have made Chinese food for supper...thus the chopsticks....yummy! Good for you Kim! She is quite the cook! A good conversationalist too!

My goodness I do Sandra's foot is OK.....how did she hurt it?

We had a long day in Winnipeg. Carl had an appointment with his rheumatologist. He is also a good friend so I knew I would have time to go to Ikea.....but I somehow got turned around in the store and was late picking him up. That is oone huge store. Also had a devil of a time getting out of the parking lot....I could see the exit road but couldn't see how to get to it! That is one crazy store. I have only been there twice before as it is away across the city.

The doctor is going to ask pharmacare to pay for another infusion treatment of the expensive drug...actually two infusions. The cost is $5,500 each. It really helped Carl for a long time...like about 15 months. Hopefully it is approved.

How are your walks coming along Beth? Can you do your old route?

Wishing you a good night's sleep,

Love,
Nancy
