UNEXPECTED

It is great when unexpected things happen and make our lives more enjoyable.

We had two unexpected phone calls.  One from Sandra to invite us over Friday to have a visit with her and Tasha and Justice.

Thursday Carol phone to say she was dropping by.  We all realized we were getting hungry so Carol droves us over to Apple wood Tea Shop.

A cozy little place where there are just a few tables and the young girls are so very pleasant
A good place to go with daughters or grand- daughters.

To-morrow will be a busy day again.  Today it was doing my visiting at the Senior's place.

The "gang" of two couples will be coming over for afternoon tea.  It is often nicer to have a small group where we can hear each other and have conversations that are meaningful!

The unexpected happened for Michael Chase when he stopped traffic on the freeway to help a slow moving turtle across.  "Helping this turtle felt so darn good" and proved to be life changing for him.
Later he wrote in his journal that kindness creates happiness.  He then wrote a book about kindness.

How unexpected that the long awaited Savior would be a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.  How strange for the swaddling clothes and the manger to be a sign of segregation, poverty, oppression and need.

The unexpected of the unconditional love of a heavenly father revealed is mysterious ways beyond our human understanding!

Well, I hope the gang does not tire you out too much. The kittens are two months old now and a whole new world of mischief. It is hard to get them to sit still for their morning weigh in.

I think the sun is suppose to come out for a bit today, that will be nice to see.

But then you will notice the dust more when you come over to visit, oh yah, you guys are old and do see well! : )

Oh boy, two months old kittens are 'full of beans" aren't they? How wonderful it would be to visit the! Such fun.

You and Larry have a busy life...always something to do each day. Keeps you young!

How is Jim doing? Is he still in the hospital? You are so dedicated to your visiting Beth....rarely missing your Thursday visits to the nursing home.

I finished a commission painting and have it packed ready to ship by Purolator. That always is a relief! One more to do now.

It is a little colder here today....with a northeast wind. The bird feeders are busier with the change from warmer weather. I filled up the metal ring with peanuts and the Blue jays need an air traffic controller...there must be 8 of them lined up waiting for their turn.
Maybe larry wants a part time job?

Carl is very tired this week after his drug infusion....it is the let down after the high of receiving 100 mgs of prednisone....hopefully, he will bounce back, but he has a second infusion next Thursday....so he likely will not be very lively for Christmas. The Rituxan drug for RA will kick in soon, hopefully! The prednisone is given to prevent allergic reactions to Rituxan.

Your lunch with Carol sounded very nice....an interesting place to go.
Have a good day,

Love, Nancy

Not feeling well is miserable.

I hope my friends have poor eye sight too but I will try and vacuum up the dog hairs. Kim did an excellent job two days ago but you would nevewr know it now.

Jim is in a nursing home now and I will try to visit next week.

Gundy is still in hospital but maybe coming home so I wait and hope to visit her there.

I start my extra strong anti-biotics today that make me feel awful but I do need to drink more. Dad will go to the store and buy lots of juice so that will help. I will not be too lively for a few days and maybe miserable so family beware!

Wow what another nice sunny day. Larry is a good air traffic controller too bad he is not there to help.
