AGE

Dad and  I love seeing the little ones at church.

There are even triplets!  Not so clear on the bigger lens.  This girl that plays the piano is awesome.  Twice during the service she just plays and no one sings.  She selects what she plays.  She has a PHD in music.  She is awesome!

""There is wisdom in youth and there ids wisdom in age,  One is loud and seeking and the other is silent and true,  -Chief Dan George
The main thing is to always keep the heart open and have the spirit of a child knowing there is much to learn;  We must not be afraid of different ways of seeing life.  We must not fear but always be willing to listen.  Our aim is to have clarity in our thinking and keep learning!
Enjoy our drive to Fort Langley on a beautiful sunny day

''''''fort Langley is a great place to walk around with all its quaint shops and even a good size book store,

"There is a longing among all people  of the earth and all the creatures to have a sense of purpose and worth.
To satisfy that common longing in all of us we must respect each other,"   -   chief  Dan George.

"May the mountain’s own great spirit make your life a singing stream. . . .
May the new moon bring a purpose to your dreams. . . .
May the rainbow touch your shoulder with a promise of its glow,
May the sunlight fall upon you as you walk in many snows.  (for Nancy)
-A native American blessing.

With the map in dad's brain and our goodies safe in the car we headed into Vancouver we drove through the erie  fog into town for Uri's 4th birthday party.  Four of the five girls where there as well as two babies, although I guess Uri is not a baby any more.  Elise is walking at 9 months and very cute.  Just like our natural grandchildren we are given big hugs and lots of love.

Coming home later in the fog we missed our turn off but thankfully where able to double back.  So hard to know where you are in an unfamiliar area in the fog.  Actually the fog gives me a headache as well.

I am reminded that old or young we are all called children of God

my toe feels better. The Dr cut my toe open to let the puss out. bit sore but no where as bad as before. The toe should heal by next Sunday. My back is better . I will only take one pain killer tonight but no valium. five early shifts the two weeks off. The kids must go to bed early now as school starts on Wednesday, doesn't help when its 35c in the house at bedtime.

That is good news Ken. I pray it will continue to heal.

Is there anything they can do to help your back. Pills are amazing help that I know.
Wish dad could find some help for his feet and he really should go to the doctor.
I am well for which I am thankful. I just need to rest when I get tired and that is what I have to do.
Foggy and cold here.
Take care. All our love to all.

It certainly was nice after the fog lifted. Randy and I got to sit in the back yard and listen to the birds in our neighbors trees and plan for the trees we will plant to temp them over to our side of the fence. Had a few skypes with Mary and Shawna. Simone and Lincoln just keep growing and becoming their own little people. Sandra

Glad you had fun at the birthday party. Are these people tha

you helped out for many years?
Well,I am looking at adopting another rescue dog ( or two ). There is a bonded pair, a male and female, really cute terrier mixes.

Our minister likes to say.
You are a much beloved child of God. I am sure you have heard that before Beth.

We are having an old fashioned winter and yesterday was a "Howler". About 12 hours of snow and winds gusting to 80kms....many highways were closed and most everyone stayed home. Today. very coooold. The high today was -25 and it is going down to -38 tonight. We cancelled Carl's appointment in Winnipeg tomorrow, at the sleep care clinic. Too cold.

I hope hope you are having your usual mild weather and are able to get out and do things.
Love, Nancy
