SURPRISE

P2160429What a nice surprise to have a visit from Oliver
and a even bigger surprise to see a frig. full of little dinners all ready for us just to be heated up!

A whole freezer full of dinners for dad and I.  Everyday will be a surprise.  What a family!  And they are all such great cooks.

I started to take pictures but was too excited.  Sorry I missed
Dad and Chris, Susan and Keith.  I meant to take one big group picture.
What a day the rain pouring down, the lights flickering as if to go out with the wind howling around the house.  So great to have the fire blazing and be warm and happy and hilarious inside.
Also caught up on some new activities people are doing and good things but also some sad experiences too.  All part of life.

P2160438
Craig and Leah   and Many and her dad Randy.  James was away in Edmonton.  We were able to see little Lincoln on Skype looking at us with his big blue eyes and smiling and making little noises.  Also fun to have a visit with Shadell and Cameron by Skype!  Looking very happy!

Mandy with her dad Randy
P2160445
Oliver, Sandra and Mandy
P2160443
Theresa and Ben and Morgan with Oliver.

Theresa and Kim being serious.  We are so blessed.  Ben was hiding for some reason maybe from Randy who likes to get him with some trick or other.

Morgan helped me make cookies and Kim helped too.  Dad thoroughly enjoyed his favorite meal Stew!  There was vegetarian stew for the veggie guys.

Sandra made my favorite cookies with nuts and raisins and Mandy cooked a special coffee cake. made

Ben hiding.

Came home thankful that I had had a big nap in the afternoon.  I would have liked a better picture of Oliver.  Oliver's friend John came to pick him up and then later Oliver wants to go surfing on the biggest waves he can find on the Island.

A big thank you to all  it was wonderful!  Especially dad  because I won't have to ask him what should we make for supper tonight.

Too bad Pentali did not get home in time.

All  I can say is that  was speechless and also enthralled with life once again!

I am glad you had your nap too and you were able to enjoy the party. OH! And one of the meals you took home was actually mine and it is not gluten free. It just says chicken mushroom written on the top. Everything else is GF. Oh, and you forgot 2 meals here, Randy some how missed them. Sandra

that is so lovely! what a wonderful thing to do. Great idea. I am very happy that we were able to skype with you guys as well. It sounded like a very busy household. We will catch up again with Sandra another day. Family is very important and i love how much time everyone takes to be with each other. We are hoping to travel out this summer, possibly in June. Road trip!!! :D looking for a lake or a river to take the paddle board out on and maybe camp or picnic. Nothing is set in stone yet, but when we know we will let you all know. Cheers
Happy Family Day from AB!

What a wonderful birthday party!AND to come home with some frozen suppers is a bonus! How thoughtful of Sandra to do that for you. You are blessed with such an amazing family.....everyone chips in to help. Good job on the pictures Beth.

We received another 3 inches of snow overnight...more shovelling. It is becoming difficult to find a spot to put it that isn't 4 or 5 feet high. Makes my back sore and then I have to see the chiropractor. Gosh it could be a disasterous spring flooding for those in the REd River Valley. For us, we live on a sand hill and don't have to worry.
How are you feeling Beth? I hope getting stronger each day.

Love, Nancy

Great idea sandra . If that's who put the food in your fridge? We made it back from Brisbane , the kids held up ok , runny noses and coughs , but we're ok. Jasmine is home from school today. She has a terrible cough. Did you see the photos of her and Brit. Jassy was so excited to see Brittany she ran up to her as she was in the midst of disaplining a staff member. Not the best timing. We arrived for breakfast on the worst day for Brittany , she had many staff problems. It was Sunday morning and lots of the staff ( young kids ) were hung over. Brittany has this huge hotel to manage , I think there is about 100 staff in about 5 bars , three restaurants , 3 function rooms , and and gambling room . She was very busy , but gave us a grand tour. . REGATTA HOTEL BRISBANE.
Hobey is doing ok , looking for a job . His band is doing ok . He is trying to get into ATC , and may take a physics course at uni to help with his application.
Didn't catch up,with Tyler his girlfriend was sick.

Thank you Theresa. Remember to comment on your activities. I was interested that you are now working at Kim's place as well as your school job. Both take a lot of energy I suspect.
Thanks to everyone again.
