JOYFUL
Dad and I were both very very happy to hear Aislinn and Tyler have reached Kamloops and are safe with Uncle Rick. A great start to their journey. The time went so fast when they were here. We so appreciate Leah and Craig showing them around.
Dad went to help Panteli with the wiring again. It was extremely difficult as he wanted the power off before joining live wires and the others wanted it on.
Some difficult problems are arising with the kitchen. The frig too huge to get in the door but eventually they succeeded. Putting the new stove will also give them some problems. A light they wanted to put in the bathroom will need an expert to install it.
The moving van will bring their furniture to-morrow. All of a sudden time seems to be going so fast We will wait till we hear if they need help today. Carol has been busy packing which is another huge job. I really want to be able to help in any way I can.
I am reading a different type of mystery. A young girl finds out her great grandmother was Jewish.
She finds herself wanting to know more Judaism. Her family have all become Christians and cannot understand her but they do encourage her take classes.
She cannot become a Jew and be married to a Christian. The reason is it will create problems in the relationship and their marriage.marriage and in bringing up the children. There us lots of beauty and peace to be found in both religions,
To add to her problems she feels strongly drawn to a Jewish boy and she is already engaged.
Abraham Joshua Herschel's book says "The higher goal of spiritual living is not to amass a wealth of information but to face sacred moments." When they come bringing joy into our lives.

Yes, yesterday was quite the day. we had a new fridge, stove, dishwasher, and water heater all delviered and installed on the same day! The fridge was too big for the space, so I had to take the door trim down, then grandpa and I shoe-horned it in so the plumber could hook up the water lines. The stove was too small for the space, so I had to add trim to the cabinet so it wouldn't fall over when you open the door. The electrician finally rewired it. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Carol was packing and I had to go dumpster diving to get her an emergency supply of boxes. Movers come today! Hope you and Larry are feeling better!
Moving and renovating two of the most stressful things. Good you are handling it well.
It will be beautiful when you are in.
Congratulations to you both.

Gosh talk about a stressful day at the new home....but it looks like it all worked out in the long run! Moving never goes easily does it? It will be so wonderful for Carol and Panteli to finally be in their new home. Yes, congratulations on all your hard work.
Your book sounds interesting, Beth. One has to wonder how the two faiths will work out. I am reading a historical novel set in the time of the English Tudors. It is full of intrigue and mystery. I have another book, waiting in the wings, called the Romanov Sisters....about the Romanov family after the revolution in Russia. Maybe I told you about this already?
It is -25 at 2:30 and I have to go out and do chores...feed the birds, plug in the car, do recycling and garbage and shovel snow. Also top up the water for the birds because the deer drink it.
Gosh that poor couple from Australia having to drive the Coqihalla....I hope it was clear the day they went. We have driven it in terrible winter conditions.Once or twice we took the canyon instead.
It was another great day, wasn't it?
Love, Nancy
Matthew and Jasmine are next door at a birthday party for sheriya , a little Indian boy Jasmine went to kindergarten with. I am trying to stay awake and watch the canucks game. Early start tomorrow on my birthday. Ugh , I nearly die every time that alarm goes off at 2am.

Forget hockey and go to sleep. You can watch it when you are an old duffer like us!
You were born about 2.
