SNOW?

The evenning sky

This is an old picture because dad's computer is succeeding to confuse me.

It really did rain hard and then change to snow.  I came out of the church to find slushy snow on my window.  It turned to rain as I drove home and I was glad to be home.  I was starving as I had not had lunch.  Dad had cleaned up the garage while I was gone.  He left his bike riding until it was too late.

The purpose of our lesson was to see the healing power at work in our lives today.

A sinful lifestyle can make us sick but the important thing to remember is that the grace of forgiveness is a free gift available to us all.  I can find that little things annoy me and I find myself feeling out of sorts.  Some times I just need to have a rest and not get over tired.

Prayer connects me to the healing power that is like a thread that connects us to the goodness and mercy of Jesus.  I find it helpful just to talk over my concerns knowing I have not been abandoned or left all alone.

There are lessons to be learned in all the difficulties that we face.  Prayer has carried me through years of illness when dreams were unfulfilled and even though I sought the care of doctors they could not find out what was wrong with me.  The faith that came through reading scripture and praying gave me the courage to keep seeking.

My answer came when I felt God telling me to ask for a referral to yet another specialist.

Jesus still heals us today in different ways even when we do not have faith!
