Later a blind man sitting on the side of the road cries out to Jesus for mercy and even though he is blind identifies him as the Son of David, a Messianic title. Have the disciples been blind to who Jesus is even though they are following him.
Discipleship means coming to see who Jesus is and learning how to follow him even into places of suffering.
Later Jesus laughs as he looks up into a tree and sees a little man sitting on a limb. Yes, it is the chief tax collector. Jesus says I am coming to your house today and Zacchaeus responds joyfully ommitting his sins by wanting to give half of his money back to the poor.

Dad passes his eye test. Lots of sich people in the doctor's office.

Last of the hot days this week. I think the weekend is a bit cooler. As long as your winter is ,our summer just keeps on.
Matthew is still nervous about going to school. Jasmine has missed four days school this week. Claims she is not feeling well.
I have three days off . Back to work on Sunda am.

Likely see you Saturday afternoon after I see Leah and the baby and get Crystal (Leah's cousin) to sign some human rights papers.
More snow here, but not in the Vancouver area, I gather.

The mountain roads look very bad for driving Rick. I will try and pop by and maybe see you when you are at mom and dads.
Randy joked this morning when he got up how strange it was to not have fresh snow over night. I am hoping it is something we can get use to.
