WHATEVER

Things did not just like planned.
Rick almost ate the dog's cookies that I gave him so Haiti would really thing he was special.
It was good that Haiti knew what they were.
Leah brought over some of her secret spaghetti sauce and then joined us for Chinese food.

She can be very happy but also wants a lot of attention, just like all babies she can be a handful.

Dad's cough has gotten really bad so we could not go to the birthday party or to Carol and Penteli's.
Rick went and then was driving home that night.  I really thought he should stay but just like dad and I when we visited we would leave when we wanted to, even in snowy weather.

I plan to go to church but think dad should stay home and get rested up.

It just seem like the kind of a day I said to myself "whatever" will be will be.

Randy had to go back to bed at 6 so we did not have time to stop after doing our running around.

I will try this afternoon.

I hope the roads were OK for Rick. I know it has stopped raining by 8 when I walked Peanut.

Oh my isn't that Ophelia a little doll? Do they call her Lia? Or would that be too much like her Mommy's name?

I am sorry to hear that Larry's cough is worse....you don't want to take chances with a bad cough...maybe he should have his lungs checked out by a doctor? Feel better soon, Larry.
I hope you are OK Beth.

How nice to have Haiti for a visit again. I don't know what I would do without a dog...truly don't. I have always had a dog except when we lived in an apartment and couldn't have a pet. we usually have two dogs and for a while we had three. I had to give Bella a haircut on her face and head today. She has so much curly fur and she couldn't see....she was so good while I trimmed it up for her. They will be going to the groomers in the next week or two, now that it is warmer. Bella is like a golden poodle and Max is like a silver Schnauser...but they are brother and sister....they are called Schnoodles. They are very close to each other...have always been together.

We have been watching a lot of the curling championship in Newfoundland the past 9 days. It has been one of the best championships yet! Great curling. Have you and Larry watched any games?

We have had a steady flow of visitors going through our yard, with the cold weather. Deer, rabbits and lots of birds. I feel sorry for the crows and geese who arrived and little too early, with a couple of warm days last weekend. this is a bitterly cold week. It will end, hopefully on Wednesday with daytime temperatures around 0C. That will be good, because we have to travel to Wpg to have our eyes tested. Carl will need new glasses since he had cataract surgery.

I am staying home until we have to go out on Wednesday because I look pretty awful with the stitches in my nose....and the swelling and blood. I think by Wednesday the surgical tapes will have fallen off and I can put a bandaid over the incisions. The stitches come out on thursday. I will have to go through all this and more the next time, in May. Darn.

How are things with Jane and her husband Beth? I miss seeing her writing on your blog and I am sure you do too. although I think you talk by phone too, don't you? I hope she gets enough help and respite time.

well I am going to practice for a little while. I haven't had much time to play for the last few days and one needs to stay in shape!

Have a wonderful evening,
Love, Nancy
