UNCERTAINTY

There are many things we are certain about.  The change of the seasons seems to be one.  This is the row of trees that was so full of color just a week ago.

I wonder what people want to make their faith come alive and be important in their lives.

Intellectualism?

A certainty that what they believe is important?

A more joyous worship?

A willingness to take risks and speak out against injustice?

A safe place of community where people actually care for one another?

For some it has been a place of being able to pour out their feelings .  Emotion openness.  ?  Certainly I feel there should be a passion that accompanies commitment.

No one aspect would appeal to all because most of us our very private but also value creativity as well as intellect.

There are no easy answers and no certainties.

Dad had his bike ride and then drove me to the Seniors Home.  Jim is failing and said to give the milkshake to someone else.  Joyce was more alert than she has been and always asks about the church,

Well, what ever reasons people have, I am sure as a society we all lose out by not having the connection to each other.

Mid term today and then off to Tashas tonight.

Enjoy the sunshine today. When will you and dad drop by to see the kittens?

Well, at least you know Jim enjoyed all those other milk-shakes.

Awe, too bad about Jim. I guess he doesn't enjoy anything in life now. But you have been amazingly loyal and supportive to him Beth. Many would give up at his first, bark.

It is good to hear that Larry is getting out on his bike again.

They towed our van away to be completely cleaned or written off by autopac. We are waiting to hear from the adjuster. It really was a mess with those doggone mice. There were quite a few making their home in the van...one of the nests was huge. Four mice jumped out of it when I was looking. YIKES. The car rental fellow only had a Dodge Ram 4by 4 truck and I drove that home....it was very large...but really nice. Today we traded it in for a small van type Mazda...so we will keep this until they clean the car or write it off.

I see you are having to wear gloves now...it must be getting pretty cold there. I haven 't have to wear them here, not yet. It was -1 this morning. Carl had a CT scan today at the hospital in Winnipeg...it was so busy in the city today. Glad to be home.

I hope you are feeling better Beth...and able to get out for a walk.

Love, Nancy
