DIFFERENCE

What a difference a day makes when a cold wind sends our sunflowers flying back and forth and chases all the warmth away.  A good day for Mary Poppins to sail over the roof tops.  I find it hard to believe these plants have grown so tall.  We can hide behind them to keep an eye on our neighbors.  We spied Gordon climbing up to his roof and were curious why.  Evidently the twin boys had locked them out while they were taking the dogs for an early morning walk.  We were happy to see him climb back down and his wife ride her bike over to her mom's house for an extra key.  He has a bad hip and a fall would have been nasty.

We are suppose to report any suspicious behavior when you live in a neighborhood like ours there often is crazy behavior.

I often think we lock ourselves out more than an criminals!

What a difference when the sun came back to shine on us all.  I had a short walk and dad thought about riding his bike but he was on the computer too long.

Leah is still working part time and the baby may arrive any day.
What a difference that will make in their lives,

Theresa is busy driving back and forth to Burnaby with Ben and Morgan.  Morgan wants to stay home and play with friends.  They are hoping they will be able to share rides with another family
All Ben's clothes and things have to be moved into his Grandpa Chuck's house in Cloverdale which a little closer to Burnaby.  What a difference a soccer star can have on a family.

The service took place in our coffee room where we sat in a circle.
What a difference songs and prayers make in the atmosphere when a loving family is gathered to share hugs and blessings in the remembrance of a loved one.

I t made all the difference in the service for Samantha.

Aren't your sun flowers amazing and your involvement with family and neighbourhood is so caring . You are a wonderful expression of faith and a loving presence in our somewhat tormented world.thank you so much for the expression you put into the reading l asked you to do. We had a good time at Sam's favourite suchi restauraunt. It was warming to have so many of the family eating together and enjoying each others company .Sam would have enjoyed herself. Well we have a busy day today .The Chutes and the McCallums are coming for dinner tonight. and we have a meeting this morning and a Drs appointment this afternoon. Supper will be a simple affair but the company will be great.many blessings and grateful thanks. Love to you both. Jane .

Hi mom - glad the sun flowers have gotten so tall.

Maybe it is time for Leah to stop working, but I suppose she knows what she is doing.

All is fine down here in Guyana.

Love,

Rick

We left Edmonton in pouring rain this morning and just 13 degrees. Stephen has roof tiles all piled up on his driveway waiting got the sun to come back out so it can get done.

Nice to get home and to see everyone alive and well.

Will catch up this weekend.

A little teaser, Cameron was rushed to the hospital by ambulance yesterday and Randy and I went there to be with Shandel. Everyone is fine. Sort of. We think.

Your sun flowers remind me of people....Their disc shaped flower with seeds, look like faces. They are really tall people in a grandstand watching a football game...they are bouncing around in excitement and straining to see the touchdown. They are quite the topic of conversation aren't they? Imagine spying on your neighbours from behind these tall giants! HAhaha that was a good one, Beth!

What a lovely idea, to have a gathering of friends on the anniversary of the loss of Jane and her husband's daughter. She was honoured with the presence of her family and friends, who love her.

We are under an emergency alert for strong thunderstorms, large hail and damaging winds...but Environment Canada in all their wisdom, are not saying where....they keep putting this on tv in place of the news.s...accompanied with an annoying sound to attract one's attention...but no mention of where in Manitoba.

My tooth and abscess are very sore today....might call the dentist in the morning to see if this is par for the course or perhaps I should go in to see him. ( not that I want to ).

I hope everything is Ok with Cameron.

Wishing you a lovely evening and a good sleep,

Love, Nancy
