THE WATCHER

I enjoy watching Kim taking pictures of our party at Carol and Panteli's.

Heather is sitting with Carol's friend visiting from the Grand Cayman.
Panteli watches dad try to email Melina for any up date on her surgery.
Three bumps on a log!
We suggested Leah should go on some rides at the P.N.E. and see what happens.

Baby have a time schedule all there own

Our two lovely daughters.
Sandra drove us to the party.
Haiti was so happy to be able to come out and visit.
She tries to climb on laps.
She tried to climb up on dad two bur Kim said No.
Kim is watching Haiti.

Dad enjoys visiting so I am glad he felt better.  Fortunately the pain is control by medication and a rest.  My job is to watch and make sure dad watches his diet.  He does like his butter!

Dad ate a good supper made by Carol and Kim.  The salmon was excellent as well as the rice with vegetables and delicious salad!

Watching and waiting for answers and hoping for good results with surgery!

Good news Cameron is okay and Chris got a new job closer to home. maybe one bus ride

Quiet morning prayer this morning as dad sleeps in.

Love is stronger than fear!

Sorry if I over stepped my boundaries...AGAIN...grabbing food out of dad's mouth. Just hate seeing him with the consequences wonderful food and an hungry tummy tempting him can cause.

I sent out the invite for your wedding anniversary.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 25, 12:00 PM. Write in in your calendar, in your book, on the fridge...

Since it is just after dads surgery I figured we would do an afternoon thing. If you decide to go to church first that is OK, you can be fashionably late.

Only a loving caring daughter would grab food out of her Dad's mouth, to avoid painful consequences. It is easy to turn a blind eye...but hard to be pro-active! YAY for Sandra.
Is Larry using Ensure or one of those drinks to make sure he gets his required nutrition daily?
That is what helped Carl after his surgery, when he had no appetite.
I hope Larry is able to keep the pain away until his surgery. Salad dressing always bothered me...I guess the spices and oils.

Great photos of another Bennett family party! Thanks Kim and Beth for taking them and posting them here....it is almost like we are there, to join in the fun. Carol and Panteli have a lovely condo.

The nighttime temperatures are getting chilly and the sun is definitely lower in the sky now. The scents of Autumn are in the air..leafy, peaty scents. It is a beautiful time of year isn't it? I guess the Aussie family are moving into spring.

The Coopers Hawk has terrified the little birds and they seemed to have moved on. He was here at least three times a day for a couple of weeks. He is a large hawk and intimidating for even the crows and magpies. The Coopers Hawk also goes by the name chicken hawk. He is a magnificent looking bird with huge yellow feet and a heavily streaked breast. This is the first year we have had a Coopers..usually it is the smaller Merlin ( which is a falcon and one of the fastest flyers and one who can dodge and dart through the bush with ease.

Well, we are off to the city to run some errands.

Have a wonderful day today!

Your bird stories are amazing and make me wish we lived closer to nature.

Larry and I will have been married 60 years. Challenging.

Yes dad has his ensure but along with the eating he has to try to do small meals.

Yes a challenge.

WOW....60 years! Well that will be a large Bennett family party for sure. That is quite an achievement and I know what you mean when you say challenging ...because ours will be 56 years in October. 4 years behind you! Yes, there sure has been wonderful times and difficult times for us too...but the important thing is..... we made it! It is becoming infrequent these days to hear about long-standing marriages.

We heard from the mechanic at the garage and he has a letter for us...so we pick it up tomorrow and I will fax it into Autopac. I hope they rule in our favour. Should know by the end of the week and that is when the rental car goes back. Keep your fingers crossed!

Love, Nancy
