They want to check his pancreas.
There may be a blockage which is causing bile to block up.
He was not in a lot of pain when Sandra and I left him about 8. They would put an I.V. in and he is not allowed to drink. In the morning they will do more tests, a blood test for sure and maybe another ultra sound.
I was extremely thankful to have Sandra with me.
We must let go of the life we have planned so that we can accept the one waiting for us.

Don't forget you can take a cab today, I will stop by after work. Though Randy is in a lot of pain this morning and not feeling well and asking me to stay home and take care of him.
Take the iPad with you today, dad can check news and stuff on there.

Randy needs to see the doctor for his broken ribs.

So sorry to hear about Grandpa. Carol and I are in San Fransisco this morning, then heading to Portland which will take all day. We will sleep in Portland Wednesday night, then be in Vancouver sometime Thursday early afternoon. Carol is charging the phone and will try to call you this morning. Send our love to Larry! Panteli
So sorry to hear that Larry is in Hospital but hope that good will come out of this situation . Yes, Beth, my thoughts and prayers have been with you and Larry all day too. I am hoping you are taking care of yourself in these worrisome times. Be sure and eat regularly and get enough rest.
I found that when Carl was in intensive care for 6 days, he had his own nurse and he was so well cared for. I didn't need to be there for a long time. Carl was sleeping all the time anyway. He was on such strong pain killers he didn't remember anyone who visited. Our own doctor visited him 4 times and he always was sleeping...( not the surgeon). I told him today, that Carl was absolutely sure the nurses wheeled his bed to a gas station! We sure had a good laugh, today when we saw him.
I am grateful for Sandra, Theresa, Leah, and the rest of the family connecting through messenger on facebook so we all can know how things are going.
Please take care of yourself and I hope that Larry will be able to have the surgery soon, so you can both start to put this behind you and start healing!
